Applications invited for NDA entrance exam
The National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance examination for Class – I Commissioned Officers in the Air Force, Army and Navy will be held on April 18, 2010. The last date for submitting the application forms is November 16, a press release from Officers Academy said. The academy will run a preparatory course for the examination from November 4 to February 13 on its premises in Secunderabad.
Candidates should be between 16 and 18 years at the time of the examination. They should have passed intermediate/ equivalent or should be in the final year of intermediate/ equivalent and likely to appear for the final examination in March/April 2010. Only men can apply for the NDA entrance exam.
The selection process consists of a written examination followed by an interview. The written exam tests math skills, general ability, English and knowledge of current affairs among others. The interview also includes outdoor tests like Group Obstacle Race, Command Tasks etc.
