Courses in digital animation

Novel subjects: Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics is offering courses in tune with the demands of the industry.

Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) is now offering advanced diplomas in 3D animation, which will equip students with the necessary skills to become sought-after professionals in the market.

Apart from the usual courses, the two flagship courses being offered are the Advanced Diploma in 3D Animation Experts and Advanced Diploma in 3D Animation Professional. Through these courses students will learn digital film making, concepts of non-linear editing, concepts of rigging, character set-up ad skinning, 3D compositing, audio-video synchronisation and fluid simulations among others.

The courses attempt to inculcate conceptual grounding, technical skills and a creative orientation. MAAC is a division of Maya Entertainment Ltd (MEL) and this connection with a professional production industry ensures that the course structure is in keeping with the demands of the industry.

Anyone interested in learning animation is eligible to apply for the courses. All courses carry a certificate after completion. The two flagship courses also carry a certificate from the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). MAAC also provides full assistance in preparing students for interviews and organising recruitment drives.
