‘Sadbhavana Divas’ observed
SPMVV Centre for Indira Gandhi Studies observed the 25th death anniversary of the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the form of a lecture programme at SGS Arts College on Saturday.
T.V. Subba Rao, professor of Law, spoke on the theme ‘Constitution and legislative privileges during Ms. Indira Gandhi’s regime’ when he made a reference to her strong economic, social and political policies that paved the way for a strong India and made the State stand against all odds.
He also recalled her contribution to Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). B.V. Muralidhar, professor of political science at SVU, traced the various stages of her life. Centre Coordinator C.Vani also spoke.

Dravidian University observed ‘Sadbhavana Divas’ on Saturday to commemorate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
V-C Cuddapah Ramanaiah paid glorious tributes to Ms.Gandhi and called her one of the most beloved leaders of the nation, whose inimitable qualities made her a class of her own.
He exhorted the students to draw inspiration from her personality and integrity. Dean P. Subbachari, professors G. Lokanadha Reddy and C. Lokanatha Reddy were present.
