Bharat varsity introduces smart classrooms

Bharath University has introduced smart classrooms that are equipped with interactive learning tools for providing an interesting learning experience to students.

The smart classroom is connected to EDUSAT for lectures by experts in select topics and subjects. The audio-visuals will enable the students to understand the subject better. Also the digital learning process is economical, quality lectures can be recorded and the students can listen to the lectures any number of times.

Each student in the classroom will be provided an individual PC and the lecture can be saved for future reference. All the systems are interconnected with EDUSAT to provide synchronous content in the classroom.

“With advancements in IT, accessibility to knowledge and information has become simpler and we have capitalised on the same to give our students an enriching experience in learning,” said K. P. Thooyamani, vice-chancellor.
