Choose from courses in sector-specific courses in tourism and hospitality at masters, under-graduate and diploma level



Set sail: Dr. YSRNITHM offers two-year full time MBA (Tourism & Hospitality) that consists of 18 months of class work and six months of field internship.

Dr. Y.S.R. National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM), Hyderabad, jointly established by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh to impart sector-specific education in tourism and hospitality offers interesting courses at masters, under-graduate and diploma level.

The institute offers two-year full time MBA (Tourism & Hospitality) that consists of 18 months of class work and six months of field internship. Selection is based on All India entrance tests like MAT, ICET followed by group discussion and interview, and applicants need to have a degree with 50 per cent marks. At the under-graduate level, it also offers a four-year full time BBA (Tourism & Hospitality) for which applicants need a minimum qualification of 12 {+t} {+h} class or Intermediate or a pass in three-year Diploma in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality & Catering Technology. Entrance test followed by interview is the admission mode. In the case of foreign, NRI or ICCR sponsored candidates admissions are given directly based on their satisfactory fluency in English.

“NITHM moulds the students for a focused global environment and the meticulously designed curriculum enables the students to develop skills in communications, critical thinking, ethics, interpersonal relationships, leadership, and technology,” says P. Narayan Reddy, Director of Dr. YSRNITHM. Dr. Reddy says an interesting aspect at NITHM is that it gives special attention towards French and Spanish languages as this widens student's employability across the globe. The campus, located in 30-acres near Gachibowli, has modern academic buildings, hi-tech classrooms, air-conditioned library and hostel rooms with Internet facility. It has three hostels, including a girls' hostel with 80 rooms and two boys' hostels with 120 rooms.
