Five composers for GV's film

Aravind and Jaishanker.

PRODUCER G. VENKATESWARAN (GV) believes in doing things in style. Two of his films for which pujas were held recently are special.

For the Vijai starrer, "Thamizhan,'' GV has roped in Miss World Priyanka Chopra as the heroine.

Directed by A. Majeeth, music for the film is scored by D. Iman (17), said to be the youngest music director . The other film is, ``Aey, Nee Romba Azhaga Erukke".

With "12B" fame Sham and Sneha in the lead, the film has Vivek taking care of comedy.

Vasanth is the director and his wife Aruna Vasanth is the executive producer along with Hameed.

The highlight, however, is that GV has used five music directors for the five songs in the film.

Murugan, brother of singer Anuradha Sriram, has studied western music in the U.S. and has also learned Carnatic music.

Singer Srinivas has turned composer by releasing ``Usele,'' a cassette of melodious songs which he has tuned. Ramesh Vinayagam has scored music for a couple of Telugu films directed by Mouli. This is his first film in Tamil.

Jaishanker and Aravind have done the re-recording for ``Oorukku Nooruper,'' directed by B. Lenin and produced by Anandha Pictures' Suresh.

Camera is handled by Gopi, art is by Ragavan, editing is done by Lenin- V.T.Vijayan, stunts are by Vikram Dharma.

GV plans release of both films on appropriate days. The Vijai starrer will be on show from April 14, Tamil New Year's Day, and the other film is to hit the silver screen on May 5, next year.``We cannot waste time or money in this industry. The more you waste, less the success. So I am for meticulous planning," says GV.
