Urs of Sufi saint

THE 55TH urs of the Sufi Saint Qutubul Akthab Hazrath Hafiz Syed Habeeb Mohammed Hasan Moulana Khadiri Baghdadi (Rah), 31st descendent of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) was held on Monday night (June 17) in the Durgah premises at Mannady.

The function started with a zikhir majlis followed by the anointing of sandal on the grave of the saint. A large number of devotees led by the Chief Kazi to the Government of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Salahudeen Mohammed Ayub participated.

The programme came to an end with the recitation of dua by the Muthavalli of the Durgah, Prof. H. Habibullah Shah.
