New temple for Raghavendra
THE MRITTIKA Brindavana Prathishtapana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy will be held on June 30, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., at Sri Raghavendra Nagar, Kurumbapet, Pondicherry-9, in the presence of Sushamindra Theertha Swamiji and Suvidyendra Theertha Swamiji, pontiffs of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Mantralayam.
The Mahotsavam from June 28 to 30 will include special homams and pujas.
The temple and brindavanam will be similar to the one at Mantralayam. The gopuram will have the idol of Sri Raghavendra.
A 700 sq. ft. Dhyana Mandapam with Lord Anjaneya adorning it, and an Annadhana Mandapam behind the brindavanam, are to be constructed.
Devotees may send their contributions through cheque or DD drawn in favour of Sri Raghavendra Seva Samajam Trust, Kurumbapet, Pondicherry - 605 009.
