Exhibition-cum-sale

A POTTERY exhibition-cum-sale will be held on October 26 and 27 at the C. P. Ramaswami Aiyer Foundation Hall, Eldams Road, under the aegis of Orange Peel, a brand created to promote artisans.

The range will showcase hand made, hand painted wares by Uma Harikrishnan. The products on display include heads, busts, masks, holders, totem poles, lamp holders, pots (clay and ceramic) and urlis with intricate designs.

Also exhibited are costume jewellery, glass paintings and canvas drawings. Uma's designs draw inspiration from Egyptian symbolism and abstract designs to Warli art and ethnic Indian motifs.
