Free Veda classes

FREE VEDA classes in Rig, Yajur and Sama, are being conducted at Sri Ahobila Math Oriental Higher Secondary School, No. 116, K. R. Koil Street, West Mambalam (Ph: 2489 3224), everyday from 4.30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Those who wish attend the classes should have had their Upanayanam. Boys above eight can join the Saptakanda Adyayana of Krishna Yajur Veda, Rig Veda and Sama Veda, the duration of which will be three and a half years. Students who successfully complete the Adyayana course, will be awarded Rs.10, 000. Annual stipend and scholarships are given to economically backward students who show promise.

Parents who wish to admit their sons in Class VI can contact the school immediately. Free books, note books and dress will be provided for these students.
