Sloka and Sanskrit

SHREYAS, A non-profit service organisation, is conducting free sloka and Sanskrit classes for those below 15 years at R.A. Puram and K.K. Nagar. Founded by Kalyanapuram R. Aravamudachariar, noted Harikatha exponent, it now plans to conduct a value-based lecture series, tailor-made for school children. These lectures, besides imparting value systems in young minds, would also help them know our rich heritage, culture and Sanatana Dharma. These lectures would be given by Sri Aravamudachariar between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm on the last Sunday of every month, at Narada Gana Sabha.

The inaugural lecture would be held at 10 a.m., on July 27, at the Narada Gana Sabha mini hall, Alwarpet. Depending on the response, the classes would be conducted in other parts of the city. Parents are requested to send their children to these classes.

Names may be registered at Shreyas, R.A. Puram (Ph: 24958238) and K.K. Nagar (Ph: 24720897).

The numbers can also be contacted for details regarding free Sanskrit and Sloka classes conducted by the organisation.
