"Identity"

THIS THRILLER is the offering of writer-director James Mangold and producer Cathy Konrad. "Identity", written by Michael Cooney, has an interesting twist.

Ten strangers with secrets are brought together in a savage rainstorm. They are a limo driver (John Cusak), an 1980s TV star (Rebecca DeMornay), a cop (Ray Liotta) who is transporting a killer (Jake Busey), a call girl (Amanda Peet), a pair of newlyweds (Clea DuVall and William Lee Scott) and a family in crisis (John C. McGinley, Leila Kenzle and Bret Loehr).

They take shelter at a desolate motel run by a nervous night manager (John Hawkes). Their relief quickly turns to fear as the 10 travellers begin to die one by one. They soon realise that to survive, they will have to uncover the secret that has brought them all together.

"S.W.A.T"

THE EXPLOSIVE action-thriller "S.W.A.T", directed by Clark Johnson, is inspired by the popular 1970s television series. It is produced by Neal H. Mortiz, Dan Halsted and Chris Lee. The screenplay is by David Aver and David McKenna from a story by Ron Mita and Jim McClain.

Jim Street (Colin Farrell) and his partner, Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner), are thrown off the S.W.A.T team in the aftermath of a controversial decision they made during a robbery/hostage stand-off.

But Street soon gets a chance to redeem himself. Team commander Dan `Hondo' Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) has been assigned to recruit and train five top-notch cops for a Special Weapons And Tactics unit (S.W.A.T). Then the new team is quickly thrown into action.
