Play on Rukmini's life

THE CENTRE for Contemporary Culture, New Delhi, will stage Avanthi Meduri's "Birds of the Banyan Tree," a play on the struggle and achievement of Rukmini Devi, in the year of the Birth Centenary, on March 21, at 6.30 p.m., at the Museum Theatre. Directed by Chittaranjan Tripathy, the performers are Avanthi Meduri and Rashmi Vaidialingam.
