Samprokshanam

THE MAHASAMPROKSHANAM of Sri Mayuravalli Samedha Sri Adikesava Perumal temple, Mylapore, will be performed on August 22 between 7 a.m. and 7.50 a.m. Homam, Kumbaradanam and Viswaroopam will be held between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. followed by Poornahuthi. Sri Mayuravalli Thayar will be taken on procession inside the temple at 6 p.m. and the Lord will be taken out on procession on Seshavahanam at 7 p.m. The Seven-day festival begins on August 18. Special Thirumanjanam for the Moolavar idols will be performed at 6 p.m. on August 20 and 3 p.m. the next day.
