Ellora-Aurangabad festival

THE ELLORA-Aurangabad festival will begin on December 11.

This three-day event will be held at the expansive campus of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University, located near Sohneri Mahal, Aurangabad.

This year, it promises a rich cultural experience.

From classical dances like Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam to music, Hasya Kavi Sammelan, ghazals and folk dances.

Both local and noted artistes will perform.

There will also be an exhibit on local handloom and handicrafts like Paithani, Himroo, Bidri and paperwork.

Other attractions include a heritage walk for senior citizens, marathons and inter-school and college competitions.
