Just in jest

The lead actors of "Thaka Dhimi Thaa" ...

GENERALLY SUNDAR C. is not known to introduce new faces — AJR Arts' "Thakka Dhimi Tha," a full length comedy, is an exception.

Yuva Krishna, the hero, makes a bow with "Thakka ... " Heroine Ankita too enters the Tamil industry with "London" and "Thakka Dhimi Tha," both directed by Sundar C. Another highlight is Vivek's prominent role in the film.

If "Thakka ... " has 70 scenes, Vivek will be seen in 60 of them, you are told. And with Sundar C.'s flair for comedy only too well known, the combo should offer viewers some rib-tickling fare.

"Distributors place Sundar's films in the Minimum Guarantee category ... he's always been a safe bet," an insider informs.

So that's probably another reason for the makers to go in for a bi-lingual — "Thakka Dhimi Tha" is being made in Telugu too.
