Festival of short films
Collective Chaos has screenings of short films on May 28 at Centre for Film and Drama, 6.30 p.m. This institute on Miller's Road will feature Rashtriy Kheer and Desiy Salad (National Pudding and Indigenous Salad) by Pushpamala N.
Mungaara Mugilu (Monsoon Cloud) by M.S. Prakash Babu will be followed by Dus Ka Bees by Babu Eshwar Prasad.
This film is an attempt at capturing the essence of popular Indian cinema posters that reflects all the `masala'. . It stresses on a pattern an average Indian popular film follows such as sex, violence.
Stagnum is by Saumyananda Sahi. Nirav, the protagonist and subject of the film, is an adolescent caught in a web of contrasts between adulthood and childhood, the city and the landscape, the elite and the poor, as well as the school and the home.
