RMK mission branch in Coimbatore

The spiritual centre of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya here has been converted into a full-fledged independent branch of the Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, and will be called Ramakrishna Math, Coimbatore.

Swami Gitanandaji Maharaj, vice president, Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur Math, inaugurated the branch here recently. The centre was started here in 1993 at Kavundampalayam. Discourses, spiritual retreats, free tuition for needy students and programme for children are being conducted regularly.

A release from the Math said that it would continue the activities of the centre and would take up more.
