Group singing

Tatvaloka, a monthly published by Dakshinamnaya Sarada Peetam, Sringeri, has organised group singing today (January 27), 7.30 p.m., at its main centre on Eldam's Road.

The group, "Bhakthi Kusuma Manjari," will render the compositions of Sri Chandrasekhara Bharathi Mahaswamigal and Sri Sri Bharati Theertha Mahaswamigal, the 34th and the present heads respectively of the Sri Sarada Peetam, Sringeri.

Music for the songs have been composed by V. Subrahmaniam, who has also trained the singers — Meenakshi, Bhavana, Sarasvathi, Srinidhi, Sarada, Chitra, Aparna and Rajiv. They will be accompanied by P. Vasantha Kumar on the veena, Koushik on the flute and Parthasarathi on the mridangam.
