Deepika arrives

Deepika Padukone has chosen to do a Kannada film. It's all hush-hush, but she is apparently getting a fat cheque for this. Producer of 25 films N. Kumar is jointly producing this film with Dr. Ramanjaneyalu. Upendra and Daisy Boppanna are the co-stars for Deepika Padukone in Aishwarya. Apparently Upendra's baby daughter is also Aishwarya. Rajesh Ramanathan is scoring the music for the film while Krishnakumar is the cinematographer. Director Indrajith Lankesh is the last minute inclusion as director. Director Naganna declined to direct this film on the grounds of less remuneration and Indrajith Lankesh grabbed it. Chief Minister of Karnataka H.D. Kumaraswamy turned up at the muhurat and sounded the clapboard for the first scene.
