No resumption of talks unless some 'movement': India
New Delhi (PTI): Ruling out resumption of talks with Pakistan unless India sees some "movement", External Affairs Minister S M Krishna on Tuesday said composite dialogue can start only after the perpetrators of Mumbai attacks are brought to justice.
"Prime minister (Manmohan Singh) has made it very clear to the Pakistan president (Asif Zardari) that the mandate he has got is limited and that the limited mandate is to see that the perpetrators of that attacks on Mumbai are brought to justice and then only the composite dialogue could be resumed," Mr. Krishna told reporters when asked about the resumption of Indo-Pak talks.
"We would like to see some movement in that direction and we are looking forward to Pakistan's response to that," the minister added.
Prime Minister Singh during his meeting with Mr. Zardari on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit last week had conveyed that India would like Pakistan to take concrete steps to end terrorism directed towards it.
