India-Russia-China trilateral meet by October
Manila, Aug. 3 (PTI): The Foreign Ministers of India, Russia and China will hold a trilateral meeting in the Chinese city of Harbin in the end of October.
Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, made this announcement after his meetings with his Indian and Chinese colleagues on the sidelines of ASEAN Regional forum here, the Russian media reported.
This would be the third stand-alone meeting of the three Foreign Ministers. Earlier, the foreign policy chiefs of the three countries had met in Russia's Vladivostok city and New Delhi.
The Foreign Ministers' level interaction forming the backbone of BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) - the fastest growing new markets of the world - had a modest start with informal lunches on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York at the beginning of this century.
