Pak masala mixes make pitch for Indian palate

Islamabad (PTI): Pakistan's National Foods Limited is focussing on India to drive international sales, particularly for its "masala mixes" for meat dishes. The company, which is displaying its products at the India International Trade Fair in New Delhi, wants to give Indians a taste of authentic Pakistani cuisine through its mixes for making biryani, qorma, karahi gosht, achar gosht, tandoori tikkas and kababs.

National Foods currently exports its range of products to around 35 countries. Its products will be displayed at the India International Trade Fair during November 14-27. Besides India, the company is taking its products to China. It will showcase its recipe masalas, pickles, desserts, sauces, pastes, jams and rice at the Food and Hotel China trade fair.
