TN, Kerala have LTTE pockets: M K Narayanan

Alappuzha (Ker) (PTI): Tamil Nadu and Kerala have been asked to closely monitor the activities of Tamil Tigers as both states had "presence of small LTTE pockets", National Security Adviser M K Naryanan said on Sunday.

Central intelligence agencies were aware of "the presence of small LTTE pockets and their counterparts in the two states have been asked to closely monitor such activities," Narayanan told reporters.

Narayanan, who was here to offer prayers at the famous Sree Krishna temple in Amalappuzha, said the Central Intelligence Bureau had informed the states about the possibility of LTTE units in Sri Lanka getting help from their supporters in the two southern states.
