Study group on CECA between India, Egypt set up
Mumbai (PTI): India and Egypt have decided to set up a joint study group to explore the possibilities of a comprehensive economic co-operation agreement (CECA) between the two countries, an Egyptian minister said Wednesday.
"The joint study group, formed as an outcome of talks with Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath in New Delhi yesterday, will look into various sectors and aspects of bilateral trade between the two nations," Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Egyptian Minister for Trade and Industry told PTI.
Rachid said that Egypt will like to have a comprehensive economic cooperation agreement on the lines of the one India has with Singapore.
