New Delhi (PTI): Allaying apprehensions about the fate of the nuclear deal, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Ambika Soni on wednesday said the government is committed to it.

All allies of the UPA and the Prime Minister are committed to the deal because it is in the interest of the country, she said on the sidelines of a function here.

About the Left's threat of withdrawing support to the government, she said "I cannot comment on it as Leftists have their own ideology".

"I do not foresee any possibility of government being reduced to minority in near future. The .Prime Minister is going Japan on July 7 and he has full support of the allies and our party," she said.
