TDP to take action against two MPs for voting for UPA
Hyderabad (PTI): The Telugu Desam Party would initiate disciplinary action against two of its MPs - D K Adikeshavulu Naidu and M Jagannadham - who had defied the party line and voted in favour of UPA Government during the trust vote in Parliament.
The TDP, which has five MPs in Lok Sabha, received a jolt with two of its members switching loyalities and supporting the Congress-led Government in the confidence motion voting on Tuesday night.
"This is a serious betrayal and breach of trust. We will take it seriously and initiate disciplinary action against the erring members," the party's leader in Parliament K Yerran Naidu on Wednesday said when contacted.
