    'Sweet dreams', Nitish tells Lalu

Patna, Nov. 13 (PTI): Railway Minister Lalu Prasad may be "dreaming" of becoming a Prime Minister but his bete noire Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar says he nurtures no such hopes.

"There is no harm in having such sweet dreams," Kumar told reporters today when asked to comment on the Railway Minister's desire to be the Prime Minister.

"Prasad claims to be a good astrologer. He had predicted before last year's Assembly election that I cannot become the Chief Minister. He should use his astrological knowledge to predict when he would become the Prime Minister," he quipped.

Asked whether he also nurtured similar ambition, Kumar, Prasad's predecessor in Rail Bhawan, said "I live in the present and I don't see 'mungeri lal ke haseen sapne' (dreams of Mungerilal, a comic character lost in his fantasy world)."

Stating that he wished to transform Bihar into a developed state, he said "I don't have time to dream about my own future.... Who knows whether I will be alive tomorrow or not.... So why bother."

In an interview to a private TV channel last week, Prasad had said he wanted "to become the Prime Minister for sure."
