Dasmunsi gives his take on Sen's remarks

New Delhi, Aug. 21 (PTI): The "headless chickens" remarks of the Indian envoy to the US Ronen Sen which he claimed was directed at the media was countered by I and B minister P R Dasmunsi who said "those who treat media as headless chickens, their brains have become a vegetable."

Dasmunsi made these comments when asked to comment on the clarification by Sen that his remark concerned some of the media friends and not the MPs after his comments sparked a row in Parliament.

Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, a former Union I and B minister, said "it was more objectionable" for Sen to clarify that the remarks was aimed at the media.
