Antony leaves for Vietnam
New Delhi (PTI): Defence Minister A K Antony on Sunday left for a three-day official visit to Vietnam to boost defence cooperation and give a strategic dimension to India's 'look east policy'.
Heading a high-level delegation, Antony will hold wide-ranging discussions with his Vietnamese counterpart Phung Quang Tanh and also call on President Nguyen Minh Triet.
The highlight of the Defence Minister's visit would be his call on the legendary leader General Vo Nguyen Giap. He will also visit Vietnamese defence installations and address a meeting of the Indian Chamber of Business there.
