    21st batch leaves for Amarnath hill shrine

    Jammu (PTI): Another batch of 870 pilgrims on Wednesdayleft here for the Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas.

    The batch, including 208 women and 26 children, left from the base camp at Bhagwati Nagar here around 0500 hours, officials said.

    With today's batch, a total of 45,513 yatris from across the country have left from here to the hill temple since the commencement of Yatra on June 17.

    Reports from Srinagar said nearly 4.50 lakh pilgrims have paid obeisance at the cave shrine since the beginning of the yatra last month.
