Mumbai (PTI): Police today baton charged MNS activists who gathered in large numbers outside the Bandra court here to protest the arrest of their leader Raj Thakre.

Raj, who was brought under tight security to the Bandra-Kurla police station, will be soon produced in the Bandra court after completing the formalities, police said.

Hundreds of MNS activists gathered outside the police station and Bandra court protesting the arrest of their leader.

Raj Thakre was arrested in Ratnagiri today for his alleged involvement in the attack on north Indian candidates appearing for a railway recruitment examination.
