Now get your favourite DVDs from Delhi Public Library
New Delhi (PTI): After providing internet facility, the Delhi Public Library (DPL) is now augmenting its services by lending DVDs to its members at no extra cost.
The library members can borrow two DVDs of their choice from a collection of about 2,000 Hollywood, Bollywood and children's films for a week by depositing a security amount of Rs 300, which is fully refundable.
The lending of DVDs started at the Central Library on SP Mukherjee Marg from Thursday and will be extended to Sarojini Nagar and Patel Nagar libraries very soon, DPL Deputy Director Sudha Mukherjee said.
Mukherjee said they were expanding the DPL and trying to provide all facilities under one roof.
"The library will a place of recreation for children with its kids zone, a learning place for all school and college going students, for women we have magazines and other literature which they will like to read, for job hunters we have a separate gazette section," she said.
"Now, trying to attract movie buffs of all age groups, the library is all set to open DVDs service for its members," she said.
