    Cine employees to observe five-minute silence

    Mumbai (PTI): Cine employees all over India will observe a five-minute silence on Thursday as a mark of respect to martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the recent Mumbai terror attacks.

    All India Film Employees Confederation (AIFEC) President Dharmesh Tiwari told PTI that an appeal had been made to producers to co-operate in the initiative.

    "Producers have accepted the appeal and will support the five-minute work halt at all shooting locations in the country at 1600 hours," he added.

    AIFEC is the umbrella organisation of cine employees in the country which includes major film production centres of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal.
