Nagpur (PTI): The final session of Parliament before the general elections is likely to be held next month, Union Minister of State Prithiviraj Chavan said here on Sunday.

"The last session of Parliament is likely to be convened next month for 10 days to pass a vote on account," he told reporters here.

The Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office said the session may end by February 24 or 25 as the country awaits the announcement by the Election Commission of the dates for general elections that may be held in April-May.
