Singapore confirms 5th Influenza A(H1N1) case
SINGAPORE (AP): Singapore's Health Ministry has confirmed its fifth Influenza A(H1N1) case since the global outbreak reached the island city-state last week.
The ministry said in a statement on Sunday that a 22-year-old local woman tested positive for the disease on Saturday after flying back from New York. It says her symptoms are mild and she is in stable condition.
The statement says Singaporean authorities are trying to locate passengers seated near her on an All Nippon Airlines flight from Tokyo to Singapore. They will be asked to self-quarantine.
