Kottayam, June 4 (PTI): The Kerala Health Minister, P K Sreemathy, today asked the local bodies to intensify their activities against the spread of viral fever by co-ordinating allopathy, ayurveda and homeopathy.

Speaking at a meeting of officials and public representatives here, she said panchayat presidents should confirm adequate availability of medicines in hospitals. An Additional Director was appointed to oversee the activities following the incidence of viral fever, she said.

She gave sacntion to each panchayats to appoint doctors, if required, on a temporary basis.
