    Bomb blast in interior Manipur

    Jiribam (Manipur), Sept. 6 (PTI): Militants exploded two bombs damaging some electric posts in two areas of this sub divisional headquarters bordering with Cachar district of Assam late last night, official reports said.

    The bombs went off at around 10.30 pm causing damage to at least five or six electric posts at Dibong and Chandrapur areas here. Three unexploded bombs were also found at these places.

    Due to damage of electrict posts, power supply in parts of Badarpur and Haflong areas of Cachar district was affected.

    Official sources said it was not yet known which militant outfit was responsible for the explosions.
