Chennai (PTI): AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa on Saturday described as "totally false" reports that she met senior BJP leader Jaswant Singh at the residence of veteran actor M N Nambiar here on Friday.

In a statement here on Saturday, Jayalalithaa said she called on Nambiar to seek his blessings as she had turned 60 recently.

Jayalalithaa said she did not discuss political issues either with him or with anybody else.

"I met only Nambiar and his family members. I did not meet anybody else," she said.

She said there was also no truth in reports that she met a senior BJP leader at the residence of political analyst Cho Ramaswamy on Friday. "On Friday, I called on seven elders and their family members to seek their blessings. I have not met anybody else," she said.
