    Measles epidemic breaks out in J&K

    Jammu (PTI): Amid reports of cases of measles in Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of Health Services has sent a team of doctors to undertake speedy treatment of affected children.

    "We have sent teams of doctors headed by Block Medical Officer to Afti and Warwan areas-located in far-flung and remote corners of Kishtwar district for treatment of measles affected children," Director Health Service Jasbir Singh said.

    He confirmed the spread of measles in Warwan area and said BMO of Dachchan area has rushed to Warwan with 400 doses of measle medicine. PTI
