Gonda (PTI): Eight children died in the district of diarrhoea and food poisoning in past two days, official sources said here.

While four children died of diarrhoea in Kasimpur village, four were killed in Babhanjot development block.

Chief Medical Officer Dr S P Pathak confirmed the eight deaths saying that some of the deaths were due to food poisioning.
