Goa CM disburses industrial subsidy
Panaji (PTI): Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat has disbursed 25 per cent state investment subsidy cheques amounting to Rs 3.18 crore to 30 industrial units in the state.
The amount was paid under 'The Goa State Investment Subsidy Scheme 1990' at a function organised by the Directorate of industries, trade and commerce.
The industrial units which received the subsidy amount of Rs 25 lakh each included Bharti Dura Line, Vico Laboratories, Cadila Health Care, IFB Industries, Parle Exports, B T Composites and Nestle India whereas two units Intax System and Saisons Communications were given Rs 10 lakh each.
Similarly, several other units received a subsidy of amount ranging from Rs 48,000 to Rs nine lakh.
Kamat also disbursed incentives to units under Goa State Financial Incentives to the industries for certification and patenting schemes.
