    Pollachi/Palghat-Dindigul MG section closed

    Coimbatore (PTI): Due to work of converting the existing Metre Gauge line to Broad gauge between Dindigul Pollachi/Podanur section, the entire metre gauge section would be closed with effect from Monday.

    Consequently, the trains running between Dindigul-Podanur and Dindigul-Pollachi section would be cancelled from tomorrow, a Southern Railway release said on Monday.

    The trains cancelled are: 771/772 Podanur-Dindigul-Podanur Passenger, Train 775/776 Pollachi-Dindigul-Pollachi passener and No.777/778 Podanur-Dindigul-Podanur passenger, it said.
