Chennai: BharatMatrimony Group has been ranked the Best Indian Portal for the year 2007 under three verticals – Matrimony, Property and Jobs - by Information Technology magazine PC World recently. In research conducted on 126 online Indian companies, BharatMatrimony and IndiaProperty won awards as the best websites in their space. ClickJobs, the group’s job website has been recognised for its best design, a press release said.

The awards were based on the sites' design, usability, technology usage, navigation, framework, interface, user experience, error handling and security.

On winning the award, Mr.Murugavel Janakiraman, CEO, BharatMatrimony Group said, “We are delighted that we have won the ‘PC World Web Awards 2007’. Internet and websites have become an indivisible part of our lifestyle. It is encouraging that initiatives are being taken to motivate and recognise the efforts of Indian websites.”
