IBM Daksh adjudged Contact Center Outsourcing Provider

Chennai, June 20 (PTI): IBM Daksh has been adjudged the '2007 Contact Center Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific' for the second successive year by Frost & Sullivan, a global business research and consulting firm.

The company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of US-based IBM, was selected after it was evaluated and benchmarked against other leading BPO companies across Asia Pacific, an IBM statement said here on Tuesday.

IBM Daksh was selected to receive this award based on its strong growth in revenues in Asia Pacific, robust R & D efforts and ability to offer end-to-end service offerings including Business Transformation Outsourcing, hosted applications and IT services, it said.

Moreover, IBM Daksh has continued to lead the 'contact centre market' for the second year in a row.

"IBM Daksh has shown exceptional growth and sustained innovation in its services over the course of the last year," Shivanu Shukla, Industry Analyst at Frost & Sullivan said.

Pavan Vaish, Chief Executive Officer of IBM Daksh said the company was "delighted" to have been adjudged the Contact Center Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year.

"This award is a testimony to our continuing market leadership and our firm belief that growth will come from providing a sustained competitive advantage to our clients through innovation in offerings and a global delivery footprint," he said.
