Wipro ropes in cartoonist Mario Miranda for ad campaign

New Delhi (PTI): IT solutions provider Wipro has roped in famous cartoonist Mario Miranda to create an advertising campaign for recruitment and employee communication.

"Mario brings the anecdotes and stories to life in his classic, inimitable style and we will share them with the world," Wipro Ltd's Executive Vice-President Human Resources Pratik Kumar said in a statement.

Cartoons created by Miranda, who is also a recipient of national awards like Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, would be used in major advertising campaigns reflecting culture, attitude, belief, emotions and life for recruiting talent and employee communications.

According to Kumar, an organisation is all about its people who live the spirit that defines it. "Call it spirit, infectious enthusiasm or interesting stories When you have more than 75,000 people practically living, sharing and growing together, it was difficult to figure out where one story ends and another begins."
