CSE index loses 109 points in weekly trade
Kolkata (PTI): The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) during the week remained volatile and in alternate bouts of rise and fall the index ended in the red.
The CSE-40 closed losing 109.78 points over the previous week. The index during the previous week was down by 73.93 points.
The index opened at 7,265.49 and till Wednesday it scaled higher to touch an intra-week high of 7,487.35. However, in the last two trading session the market lost ground and finished at 7,155.71.
Trading volume during the week remained normal.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 303.75. Emerald Commercial was at Rs 464.95 at close. Konarak Commerce finished flat at Rs 97.10.
Minolta Finance was at Rs 278.60. Oasis Cine was at Rs 288.80. Quest Financial was at Rs 60.75 to finish the week.
RGF Capital Markets ended at Rs 345, Prime Capital Markets was at Rs 278.80 and Twenty First Century at Rs 290.15.
Vindus Holding finished the week at Rs 293.
