    Porsche India appoints Rod Wallace as MD

    New Delhi (PTI): Porsche Cars India, an arm German luxury carmaker Porsche, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Rod Wallace as the company's new Managing Director.

    Wallace would be responsible for overseeing the company's initiatives and operations in the Indian automobile market, the company said in a release.

    "Our objective is to maximise the growth of Porsche in India by ensuring that the customer experience exceeds that of any other premium brand through the highest level of customer care... The customer will be the primary focus of Porsche in India and we will make them our biggest advocates," Wallace said about his plans for the company after announcement of the appointment.

    Wallace has been associated with Porsche for more than 12 years and has worked with the company in the UK, Middle East and South Africa, the release added.
