New Delhi (PTI): Max New York Life Insurance on Monday announced that Rajesh Sud will head the company as its CEO and Managing Director from November 1, replacing Garry Bennett.

Rajesh Sud already a senior company official will take charge after the necessary approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, the company said in a statement issued here.

Meanwhile, in another appointment, Rajiv Mehta has been prompted as the insurance company's Chief Operating Officer from the Deputy Chief Operating Officer.

Max New York Life Insurance is a joint venture between Max India Limited and US-based New York Life International.

Sud has been associated with the company for over three years and is also a member of the company's core management team. He is an MBA in Marketing and Finance and has also studied at the Wharton Business School in the US.
