Tarang targets FMCG firms with survey solution

Mumbai (PTI): Bangalore-based Tarang Software Technologies (TST) along with its US-based partner, Decisive Analytics, has developed an end-to-end survey solution called WayFinder, targetted at FMCG companies.

TST would soon launch roadshows for the product in various metros of the country and expects a Rs 5 crore revenue within the first year of launch, the company's CEO and Founder, V. Rama Kumar, told PTI here.

WayFinder will help FMCG companies do away with tedious field-surveying and a lot of brainstorming with samples and save costs.

"Apart from time, the product will reduce the cost of surveying for a company whether it is pre-or-post-launch of a product," Kumar said.

WayFinder can import email lists from data sources outside the system. It then triggers email alerts to the respondents and presents the survey questions to them.

Sophisticated data analytic tools provide analysis and finally, reports and charts can be generated from the system.
